I Am Not Dead Yeah, it's been nearly a month, but I'm back. And to prove my back-ness, here's my Top 37 of 2006. Yeah, year-end lists are /so/ last year, but since I've been MIA for nearly a month, I think it's OK. I mean, it's not like the blog police will come and shut me down, eh?
Unlike previous years, I'm not going to editorialize. No time. The top 12 are ranked, while the rest are bunched up together. And I'm only including LPs of original work -- trying to compare proper releases with live albums and EPs just doesn't make since. Hold On, Hold On Stacey says (and SWAK confirms) that Neko Case will force me to make a choice on Tuesday, Feb. 13th: curling, Camera Obscura, or her. Commodore, this time, with Eric Bachmann opening. The smart money will be on me seeing Neko.
So long, OC. 4 seasons ain't bad considering the drop of quality as well as ratings.

Empty Shelves Good gods packing's a lot of work. 3 hours into it, I'm only 8 boxes deep -- and those are just my CDs and some of my DVDs. My books will take at least another 8, not to mention the copious amounts of miscellany that I've collected over the years. (Don't we all have Ben Affleck and Matt Damon action figures?) I guess I'm lucky I don't have much clothes!
Gods damn. Well, at least my lists are almost done. Posting will commence once they've been nailed down. I really hate being so indecisive.
